Position: ARCHITECT – DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
We are looking for an Architect with experience in both design and construction to lead the design and management of projects from concept through to construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both design and construction processes, and will be able to work collaboratively with our team of architects, engineers, and builders to deliver exceptional projects.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the design and management of projects from concept through to construction, including site analysis, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
– Work collaboratively with our team of architects, engineers, and builders to develop innovative and functional design solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
– Develop project budgets and schedules, and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
– Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and project status reports to clients and stakeholders.
– Conduct site visits and assessments, analyze site data, and prepare reports and recommendations for clients.
– Develop technical specifications and construction details for construction projects.
– Manage the construction process, including coordinating with contractors, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes.
– Mentor and supervise junior staff, and provide guidance and direction to the team on project-related issues.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest design and construction trends, materials, and construction techniques.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
-3+ years of experience in both design and construction projects.
-Active PRC Architect License
-Strong design skills, including experience in site analysis, conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
-Experience in managing design and construction projects, including developing project budgets and schedules, and managing project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and project status to clients and stakeholders.
-Strong technical skills, including experience in preparing technical specifications and construction details for construction projects.
-Highly flexible and is open to work on a variety of projects ranging from Architecture to Landscape Architecture
-Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Revit, and other relevant design software.
-Knowledge of local building codes, construction techniques and materials related to construction projects.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and mentor and supervise junior staff.
